EYC currently has many special students, but these young people demonstrate exceptional abilities and have situations that require our support for them to be able to work their way out of poverty. All of these kids grew up in tough conditions and have persevered through more than most of us can imagine, yet they are optimistic for their futures.
Please consider making a donation. University tuition starts at $400 per year. We will
distribute based on each students need, and on how much is donated.

“I got the scholarship from EYC to study at a private high school, Pannasastra International School. After I got the scholarship my life became better. My performance at school kept improving, and I have more chances to be involved in social activities. Furthermore, the scholarship have reduced my family’s expense for sending me to school. My parents seem really happy and feel so proud of me. Before my family were so worried about me that I might become a bad person in society, but now they hope I will earn a good reputation for my family. They see that I am more mature and are delighted because they see that I have become a strong girl.
I promise that I am going to try very hard in university and will share what I have to other people who have less knowledge than me. Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to all donors who I have supported me both financially and emotionally, and I do promise that I will pay back by becoming a very successful person in life.”

“Before, I had dropped out of school, because my family is really poor and I cannot afford school. With support from EYC I could start school again, and this makes me really happy. My studies keep improving. Ignorance and unemployment have gone out of my life. I now know about social issues and know clearly the way I am going to walk in society. I am now a computer teacher for EYC at Lakeside School and have learned many things as a student there, especially related to computers. I wish all the donors and leaders of EYC to be healthy, strong and lucky.”

They now have big happiness for their daughter! Thirdly, it is a good chance for my community, as I use to live in the very tough living condition, but now I am in a better standard of living, and my neighbors have strong hope that I could help or share knowledge with them.
I would like to express my deep gratitude to all sponsors and EYC for your kindness and charity, and especially for encouraging me. I am going to try hard in my new life at university. Thank you so much everybody!”

“EYC has really helped me to develop my skills. I was given a scholarship to study at private school which is the very good school and would be too expensive for my family to send me there. As a result, I was changed a lot, from a little girl that had nothing to become a woman that knows a lot of new things. I am more confident as a good student in the class, have good relationships with other people, sensitive thinking, and the best for me is that I can speak well. Someday I want to help my family and other kids who need help. I want to say ‘thanks’ to everyone that helps me and other people in this poor country, especially all the donors that help us from the darkness to see a beautiful Earth from the day it started until today.”
