Medical services: In additional to regular health and hygiene trainings, each school has a medical clinic that is open to the community one night per week. The communities around the four schools of EYC benefit from regular health services provided in partnership with One-2-One, Chibodia and EYC’s in-house medical team, comprised of part time medical professionals and medical student volunteers.
Dental services: Dental services are available to all of our students, and we have done hundreds of treatments, for everything from cleanings to fillings to extractions to root canals. All dental services are currently provided by Cambodia World Family (CWF) with weekly visits to their clinic.
Birth Control: Under the leadership of EYC’s social program and using clinics supported by Marie Stopes and Population Services Kampuchea (PSK, formerly PSI), the EYC team is able to help women access much needed family planning tools. Our team teaches and promotes birth control for the women in our communities, as well as other target communities where people have been displaced or relocated. Women are provided free IUDs as well as transportation and follow-up services.
